By creating an account or using the Recovery Food Solutions platform ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Accounts are role-based (Donor, Driver, Recovery Hub, Community, Owner, Admin). You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
Recovery Food Solutions provides tooling to help document food-recovery activity, including SB 1383 reports and IRC §170(e)(3) fair-market-value estimates. We do not provide legal or tax advice. You are solely responsible for verifying regulatory compliance and tax deduction eligibility with your own advisors.
Donors are responsible for logging accurate weights, temperatures, and food-safety information. Drivers are responsible for maintaining safe transport conditions. Recovery Hubs are responsible for intake inspection. Recovery Food Solutions is not a party to any food handoff and does not guarantee the safety, quality, or fitness for consumption of donated food.
You agree not to: (a) misrepresent donation weights, categories, or recipients; (b) attempt to bypass access controls or scrape data you are not authorized to access; (c) use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
The Service, including all software, branding, logos, and content authored by Recovery Food Solutions, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the data you enter.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time; certain records (e.g. SB 1383 receipts) may be retained to satisfy regulatory or audit obligations.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) and automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Fees, taxes, and applicable currencies are displayed at checkout. You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and access to paid features continues through the end of the current period. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated immediately.
Payment, billing, tax collection, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Paddle in accordance with the Paddle Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recovery Food Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here and, where practical, communicated by email.
